People say I have smiling eyes. Eyes are the window into the soul, right?

I’m Allison, a recovering perfectionist and life-long learner. After years of corporate hula-hooping, I decided it was time to reimagine my own story.

Growing up in America’s heartland, I was surrounded by family, cornfields, wide open spaces, music and sports. A vast canvas of personal expression.

And then by chance, my daughter’s 5th grade art project.

I was exhausted after another day of playing single mom/dad/ friend/bread-winner/corporate guru/teacher/carpenter/short-order cook/dish-washer and dog-catcher, so I stopped and just watched her paint.

Ever watch a 5th grader paint? She was totally absorbed in the moment, loving every messy minute.

Rather than clean up, I decided to … PLAY. Yes, play. It was the first time I’d even picked up an artists’ paint brush in years.

This small gateway led me to explore all sorts of art media. It unleashed a reservoir of creative expression from within.

Today I combine my business background with art, helping others re-discover their own creativity. We do some unlearning of limited beliefs and relearning how to play.

I’m pretty laid back as an artist, educator and coach, but my curiosity and never-ending sense of adventure gives me wings while grounding me on the stage (or the dirt) I play in.

Trinité Jones is the expressive force within that is my compass, my voice, my truth. My inner artist. I’m a storyteller capturing extraordinary things seen through the windows of my ordinary, everyday life.

S l o w i n g down. Taking time to play, to actually see what’s right in front of me. It re-frames a world of possibilities and re-kindles purpose.

Everyone has a story to tell. Stories are how we connect our dots of meaning and play is the foundation for new or re-discovering.
